After a long and exasperating drive back from a disappointing reunion in the Peak District, I was a tad strung out and not, it seems with hindsight, paying due care and attention to my driving. Which would explain why I was arsing about with my phone. As a result, I now have a one-handed photograph of brakelights in a tunnel as I stand on the middle pedal and decelerate from around 100mph to about 40mph to avoid the traffic I have just noticed.
By way of contrast, I have included the second shot. This is what I face at 0600hrs every weekday as I commence the outbound leg of my 50 mile-a-day commute through one of the busiest capital cities on the planet. Never mind - all those queues give me more than enough time to ponder my work/life balance. Sigh.
